THE FAILURE THAT MATTERS MOST
A mesh is only as trustworthy as its weakest agent.
Multi-agent command platforms divide work across specialised agents that cross-check one another. But cross-checking assumes every agent is itself healthy. Model drift, corrupted weights, a compromised build or degraded inference can erode an agent silently, and inside a command platform, a silent failure is the failure that matters most. A commander who cannot trust the mesh cannot use its speed.
DRIFT
Silent drift.
A model's reasoning degrades gradually. No error is thrown. Recommendations shift quality without anyone noticing until an outcome exposes it.
INTEGRITY
Integrity compromise.
Corrupted or tampered weights, an unverified build, a supply-chain implant. If you cannot prove which code produced a recommendation, you cannot defend it.
DEGRADATION
Degraded performance.
Latency creep, mis-calibrated confidence, rising disagreement with peer agents. Individually tolerable. Together, the early signature of failure.
Health assurance cannot be an afterthought bolted onto the mesh. It must be a layer above it.
DETERMINISTIC BY DESIGN
Four continuous checks. No inference required.
Signed heartbeats
Every agent emits an ML-DSA-signed liveness beacon on a fixed cadence. A missed or invalid beat is an event, not a guess. Spoofing a heartbeat requires breaking post-quantum signatures.
Canary probes
Scheduled queries with known answers detect model drift and degraded reasoning before operations do. Results are scored against independently verified baselines.
Integrity attestation
Build hash and weights hash re-verified against the sealed ledger record. Any mismatch is treated as compromise and triggers immediate quarantine. No discretion, no delay.
Performance telemetry
Latency, confidence calibration and cross-check disagreement rates tracked against per-agent baselines. Deviation beyond signed thresholds escalates automatically.
SynapseSentry™ contains no opaque model. Its verdicts are produced by hash verification, signature checks and signed thresholds, which means they can be reproduced, audited and certified. The watcher must be simpler than the watched.

Every transition is sealed as its own entry in the hash-chained ledger, signed with ML-DSA. Years later, you can prove exactly which agent version, which build, produced which recommendation, and what the supervisor knew at the time.

Ledger-sealed history

Post-quantum signed
Heartbeats and replacement images carry ML-DSA signatures; supervision channels use ML-KEM. NIST-standardised, harvest-now-decrypt-later resistant.
